పొందూరు (Ponduru), ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రములోని శ్రీకాకుళం జిల్లాకు చెందిన ఒక మండలము.
పొందూరు శ్రీకాకుళమునకు 20 కి.మీ దూరంలో కలదు.ఖద్దరు,హస్తకళలకు ప్రసిద్ధి చెందిన ప్రాంతము.
భారత దీశంలో ఖాదీ వస్త్ర ప్రియులకు యిష్టమైన ఖద్దరును తయారుచేసే ప్రాంతం పొందూరు.
మహాత్మా గాంధీ గారు కూడా పొందూరుకు చెందిన ఖద్దరును యిష్టపడే వారు.
అమెరికా,స్వీడన్, వంటి దేశాలకు ఎగుమతులు కూడా జరిగేవి.
ఈ ప్రాంతంలో దేవాంగ,పట్టుశాలి,నాగవంశం అనే కులాలు ముఖమైనవి. ఇక్కడి ప్రజల ప్రధాన వృత్తి చేనేత.
ప్రత్తిని శుభ్రం చేసి రాట్నాలతో దారాన్ని తీసి మగ్గాలపై చక్కని ఖద్దరు వస్త్రాలను నేస్తారు.
మగ్గాలతోనేకాక యంత్రపరికరాలు, మరమగ్గాల ఆదారంగా ఖద్దరు ఇతర రకాల నేతలు నేయు నేతగాళ్ళు కలరు.
